Microsoft Corp Chairman Bill Gates and his wife Melinda arrive at U.S. District Court in Washington D.C. April 22, 2002 for Gates‘ testimony in Microsoft’s 4-year anti-trust battle against the U.S Department of Justice. When Gates took the witness stand he told a federal judge that antitrust sanctions sought by nine states would cripple Microsoft and set its Windows operating system back 10 years, to the detriment of consumers and the computer industry.
